Tornado Alert hopes to join Kutub, Benbatl, Barney Roy and Nations Pride on the G1 Grosser Dallmayr-Preis roll of honour as he takes on some strong older opposition at Munich, Germany, on Sunday, 27 July.

The Too Darn Hot colt remains over a mile and a quarter for Saeed bin Suroor after chasing home subsequent G1 Grand Prix de Paris runner-up Trinity College in the G3 Hampton Court Stakes at Royal Ascot.

A maiden winner at Newcastle in October, Tornado Alert started his three-year-old season with two Classic appearances. Following a fine fourth behind Ruling Court in the G1 2,000 Guineas, Tornado Alert faded to sixth when trying a mile and a half in the G1 Derby at Epsom Downs.

Saeed bin Suroor said: “Tornado Alert worked really well earlier in the week. This looks a tough race, but a mile and a quarter is the right trip for him. I’m looking for a good run.”

Honeyflower goes for Henri-Alex Pantall in the Listed Konrad Werner Wille Memorial over seven furlongs.

The half-sister to Wild Beauty has made two previous appearances over the distance, winning a Lyon Parilly maiden in April and coming home seventh in a Longchamp Listed race earlier this month.
