Two-year-old colt Stratton Street steps up to G3 level and drops back down in trip for the Prix du Bois over five furlongs at Deauville, France, on Saturday, July 2.

The son of Street Cry, trained by Andre Fabre, faded to fifth on his latest appearance in an extended six-furlong conditions race at the same course on June 17.

He has made three appearances over five furlongs at Chantilly, headed by a convincing win on soft ground in a conditions race on April 28.

Stratton Street, with regular rider Mickael Barzalona taking the mount again, lines up in stall six against five rivals including Rapacity Alexander, Sans Equivoque and Fixette, who were the first three home in the Listed Prix La Fleche at Chantilly on June 11.

Andre Fabre commented: "We know Stratton Street has talent but he has been inconsistent in his races to date.

"We are hopeful of a good run but keeping expectations to a reasonable level."
