Tribalist bids for a remarkable eighth Saint-Cloud success as he looks to win the G2 Prix du Muguet for a third consecutive year on Thursday, 1 May.

The six-year-old has yet to finish out of the places in 10 course appearances, annexing two renewals of the G3 Prix Edmond Blanc and the Listed Prix Tantieme in addition to his gate-to-wire victories in the Prix du Muguet.

Trained by Andre Fabre, Tribalist’s biggest win to date came across the river Seine in the G1 Prix du Moulin de Longchamp last September, in which he again made all to beat a deep field that included top milers Charyn, Henry Longfellow and Notable Speech.

Tribalist missed this year’s running of the G3 Prix Edmond Blanc as he started his campaign on the all-weather at Chantilly in early March, with the Farhh entire going down by four and a half lengths in second behind No Lunch in a conditions race.

Andre Fabre is also represented in the same race by Vertbois, who makes a third straight appearance at Saint-Cloud.

After staying on well to take the Listed Prix Altipan in early March, the Night Of Thunder four-year-old finished sixth in the G3 Prix Edmond Blanc later the same month.
