Territories Out Of St James's Palace Stakes

Territories met with a setback this morning and the decision has been made to bypass the G1 St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot on Tuesday.

John Ferguson, Bloodstock Advisor to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed, said: "Unfortunately Territories was not sound this morning and it is understood to be a stone bruise. He will therefore not take up his engagement in the St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot."

The most likely next target for Territories is the Prix Jean Prat at Chantilly on July 12.
