Three-year-old sprinter Log Out Island drops back in class and trip for the five-furlong G3 Coral Charge at Sandown Park, UK, on Saturday, July 2.

The Richard Hannon-trained colt came home last in the G1 Commonwealth Cup over a furlong further at Royal Ascot on June 17 but had previously stormed to a decisive all-the-way success in a Newbury Listed race, also over six furlongs, on May 14.

He also made all of the running to take the six-furlong Listed Two-Year-Old Trophy at Redcar in October and was runner-up in two G2 races last season, including the Norfolk Stakes over five furlongs at Royal Ascot.

Richard Hannon said: "Log Out Island was disappointing at Royal Ascot last time, although he pulled up with no issues from the run.

"I hope he can come back to where he was when he won at Newbury. If he can, he will be right there at the finish but I want to see him do it again first."

William Buick partners Log Out Island, who is drawn in stall 12 and opposes 12 rivals including Wokingham Handicap second Brando and French G2 scorer Spirit Quartz.

Godolphin has two runners in the Coral Challenge at the same fixture, with Listed victor Best Of Times (Saeed bin Suroor/William Buick) and Lincoln winner Secret Brief (Charlie Appleby/James McDonald) going for the valuable mile handicap.
