Inns Of Court back at Maisons-Laffitte for G3 Prix Seine-et-Oise

Racenews

G1 Prix de la Foret second Inns Of Court drops down in class and trip for the G3 Prix Seine-et-Oise over six furlongs at Maisons-Laffitte, France, on Wednesday, 31 October.

The Andre Fabre-trained four-year-old went down by a short-head in the seven-furlong Prix de la Foret at Longchamp on 7 October, and was also beaten by the same margin in the G1 Jacques le Marois over a mile at Deauville in August, 2017.

He returns to Maisons-Laffitte having been the easy winner of the G3 Prix de Ris-Orangis, run over the same distance as the Prix Seine-et-Oise, in July one of three victories at G3 level for the Invincible Spirit colt.

Mickael Barzalona takes the ride again on Inns Of Court, drawn nine, who meets 11 rivals including G1 Prix de l'Abbaye de Longchamp runner-up Gold Vibe and 2017 G1 Al Quoz Sprint victor The Right Man, winner of the last two renewals of the Prix Seine-et-Oise.

Lisa-Jane Graffard of Godolphin said: “Inns Of Court ran a great race in the Prix de la Foret and has come out of it well.

“There is rain forecast, but Inns Of Court has run well on all types of ground in the past, and we hope that he can produce another good effort.

“Hopefully, we can find out a bit more his future and whether he can be a sprinter for next year.”
