Endless Time back in France for Darley Prix Kergorlay

Racenews
Recent Goodwood G3 scorer Endless Time returns to France for the G2 Darley Prix Kergorlay over a mile and seven furlongs at Deauville on Sunday, August 20.

The Charlie Appleby-trained mare has run excellent races on both her previous trips across the Channel, taking second at G1 level in both the 12-furlong Prix Vermeille at Chantilly in September and the Prix Royal-Oak over nearly half a mile further at Saint-Cloud in October.

She stayed on strongly to score by a neck on her latest outing in the G3 Lillie Langtry Stakes over 14 furlongs on testing ground at Goodwood on August 3

The five-year-old has also scored in G2 company on soft going, having gained a comfortable win under James Doyle, who comes in for the ride again, in the Lancashire Oaks at Haydock Park in July, 2016.

Endless Time tackles nine other stayers in the Darley Prix Kergorlay including German G2 winner Red Cardinal and G2 Prix Maurice de Nieuil runner-up Marmelo.

Charlie Appleby said: “Endless Time put up another brave performance at Goodwood last time out and came out of the race well.
“I couldn’t be any happier with her and it looks like she will have conditions to suit.

“A repeat performance of her latest run is going to make her very competitive.”
