Cualificar & Ilda Rosa hoping to impress at Chantilly

Cualificar aims to continue a perfect start to 2025 and advance his Prix du Jockey Club ambitions in the G3 Prix de Guiche at Chantilly, France, on Tuesday, 6 May.

The Andre Fabre-trained colt has already annexed an early Classic trial over the same nine-furlong distance at Longchamp, staying on gamely to score by a neck in last month’s G3 Prix La Force.

Following two good performances as a juvenile, Cualificar shed his maiden tag with a comfortable success at Saint-Cloud in the middle of March.

Unbeaten filly Ilda Rosa steps up in class for Henri-Alex Pantall on the same card as she tackles the Listed Prix des Lilas.

The Lope de Vega filly, who is out of a G1-winning half-sister to Ghaiyyath, has posted comfortable victories on the all-weather at Chantilly and on the turf of Lyon Parilly so far this year.
