Ultra Sidelined By Minor Setback

Unbeaten three-year-old Ultra will miss the first part of the season after suffering a setback.

The Andre Fabre-trained colt captured the G1 Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere on his final juvenile appearance and was a leading contender for the upcoming major European Classics.

John Ferguson, Racing Manager for Godolphin commented: "Ultra has developed a splint and, as a result, has missed training at a crucial time.

"He is unlikely to be ready for any major prep races, which in turn puts his Classic aspirations on hold."
