Powder Snow goes after G3 prize at Toulouse

Powder Snow steps down to G3 company for the Prix Fille de l’Air (14.50hrs local time) over an extended mile and a quarter at Toulouse, France, on Friday, November 11.

The three-year-old Dubawi filly, who is trained by Henri-Alex Pantall, came home an unlucky sixth in the 10-furlong G1 Premio Lydia Tesio at Capannelle, Italy, on October 23, when she was denied a clear run in the closing stages.

She ran on strongly for a short-head success in a Cologne Listed race over nine and a half furlongs on September 25 and was fifth over a mile in the G2 Prix de Sandringham over a mile at Deauville in June.

Powder Snow, with Aurelien Lemaitre in the saddle again and drawn five, faces 12 fillies and mares including G2 Oaks d’Italia runner-up Gambissara, recent Tolouse Listed winner Five Fifteen and Premio Lydia Tesio fifth Persona Grata.
