Godolphin Australia will launch a three-pronged assault on the final Group race of the season at Caulfield on Saturday – with Kallos, Inhibitions and Kin representing departing head trainer James Cummings in the G3 Bletchingly Stakes over 1,200m.

Kallos, to be ridden by Ethan Brown, is second-up after finishing sixth behind In Flight in the G3 Monash Stakes 1,100m at Caulfield two weeks ago.

The six-year-old didn’t show his usual first-up finishing sprint but could have benefited from the run.

A dual winner second run back from a spell, Kallos will be chasing his eighth win in 28 starts and may appreciate a drier track surface.

Inhibitions resumed with a good third to Marble Nine down the Flemington straight 1,200m course on 5 July and is a winner at her only Caulfield start at the track and distance.

Although the four-year-old has drawn a tricky barrier (8), stable foreman Nacim Dilmi reported Inhibitions had returned to the stable a much stronger mare who has an excellent second-up record of two wins and two placings from four starts.

Jye McNeil takes the reins from Jamie Melham.

Consistent mare Kin could be having her last start before a possible retirement to stud.

A dominant winner of the Listed Gai Waterhouse Classic 1,200m at Ipswich last month, the five-year-old finished off well when fifth to In Flight in the Monash Stakes and would also appreciate a firmer racing surface this weekend.

Craig Williams has the mount as Kin seeks her sixth win, with 11 placings, from 30 starts.

From barrier nine, Williams is likely to give Kin time to settle before asking her for her usual strong finish.
