Innovative Idea steps back up to G3 level for the Groupie Doll Stakes over a mile on dirt at Ellis Park, USA, on Saturday, August 6.

The four-year-old filly, trained by Eoin Harty, stayed on well to beat Super Majesty by three quarters of a length, with the front two over 10 lengths clear, to gain a first non-graded success in the Iowa Distaff Stakes over an extended mile on dirt at Prairie Meadows on July 2.

The daughter of Bernardini has made two G3 appearances, finishing last of nine in the Arlington Matron Stakes over nine furlongs on Polytrack at Arlington Park in May and taking fifth on dirt in the extended-mile Doubledogdare Stakes at Keeneland in April.

Jon Kenton Court takes the ride for the first time on Innovative Idea, who breaks from stall one and faces 11 rivals including G2 scorer Ahh Chocolate and G1 La Troienne Stakes runner-up Engaginglee.

Eoin Harty said: "Innovative Idea is in the best form of her life. Her last race was a very good effort and I expect the same from her this weekend.

"It's a big field with some horses that look like they belong in this company but I expect Innovative Idea to be involved in the thick of it."
