Hunter's Light bids for a third Group One victory in the Jebel Hatta Sponsored By Emirates Airline over nine furlongs on turf at Meydan, UAE, on Saturday, March 7.

The seven-year-old son of Dubawi, trained by Saeed bin Suroor, was the easy winner of the 10-furlong Al Maktoum Challenge Round Three Sponsored By Emirates Airline on Tapeta at Meydan in March, 2013, and captured the Premio Roma GBI Racing over the same trip on turf at Capannelle, Italy, in November of the previous year.

He is aiming for a third straight turf win at Meydan this year, having gained two comfortable victories over 10 furlongs; in a handicap on January 29 and the Listed Dubai Millennium Stakes Sponsored By Meydan Sobha on February 19.

James Doyle, who partnered Hunter's Light to both successes this season, takes the ride again.

Saeed bin Suroor said: "Hunter's Light is unbeaten in two starts so far this year but is coming up against better horses this time.

"This race has been the target since he won last time and we would really like to win another Group One race with him. He is good form and I am hoping for another good run."

Hunter's Light lines up against 11 others including last year's Jebel Hatta winner Vercingetorix and Canadian Grade One scorer Trade Storm plus course-and-distance victor Limario.

Godolphin has won the Jebel Hatta on four occasions through Siege (2000), Mahfooth (2001), Divine Task (2002) and Sajjhaa (2013).
