Hunter's Light races for the second time in 2015 when going for the Listed Dubai Millennium Stakes Sponsored By Meydan Sobha over a mile and a quarter on turf at Meydan, UAE, on Thursday, February 19.
The Saeed bin Suroor-trained seven-year-old quickened well for a convincing win over the same course and distance when carrying top-weight in a handicap on January 29 - his first start for 10 months.
He made two appearances at the Dubai World Cup Carnival last year, fading to eighth on turf in the nine-furlong Group One Dubai Duty Free Sponsored By Dubai Duty Free and taking fourth over half a furlong further on Tapeta in the Group Two Al Maktoum Challenge Round Two Empowered By IPIC.
Hunter's Light powered to an impressive victory in the Group One Al Maktoum Challenge Round Three Sponsored by Emirates Airline over a mile and a quarter on Tapeta at Meydan in March, 2013, and also scored over the same distance in the Group One Premio Roma GBI Racing on turf at Capannelle, Italy, in 2012.
James Doyle, who rode Hunter's Light to success on January 29, partners the son of Dubawi again.
Saeed bin Suroor commented: "Hunter's Light needed the race on his first start of the year but he still won nicely.
"He has been working well and is ready to go. This is a step back up in class but he likes this trip and I am hoping for another good run."
Hunter's Light takes on nine rivals including French Group Two second Calling Out, multiple Scandinavian Group winner Bank Of Burden and recent Meydan handicap scorer Umgiyo.
Tasaday won the inaugural running of the Dubai Millennium Stakes for Godolphin in 2014.
