Versatile filly Deloraine switches back to turf for the G3 Pucker Up Stakes at Ellis Park, USA, on Sunday, 3 August.

The Eoin Harty-trained three-year-old broke her maiden on the all-weather at Presque Isle Downs in October before a commanding success on turf in a Tampa Bay Downs allowance optional claimer in December.

A productive winter at Tampa Bay Downs for the Candy Ride homebred also included third places on dirt in the Suncoast Stakes and on turf in the G3 Florida Oaks.

Deloraine secured more G3 Black Type on dirt in the G3 Gazelle Stakes at Aqueduct in April and was fourth on the same surface in the G3 Indiana Oaks in early July.

Michael Banahan, Director of Bloodstock, Godolphin USA, said: “Deloraine has pleased Eoin since her last run and he is hoping that he will see an improved performance back on the turf.

“She should be competitive and give a good account of herself. If she gets the run of the race, she should be able to pick up another Graded placing and possibly get herself a Graded win.”

Eoin Harty also saddles Multitask in the KY Downs Preview Turf Cup, with the four-year-old chasing a third straight win on his Stakes debut after scoring in a Churchill Downs allowance race and an allowance optional claimer at Ellis Park.
