Cualificar back in action in G2 Prix Guillaume d'Ornano

Prix du Jockey Club second Cualificar hopes to set himself up for a significant autumn as he returns from a break in the G2 Prix Guillaume d'Ornano at Deauville, France, on Saturday, 16 August.

The Lope de Vega colt, who is trained by Andre Fabre, makes his first appearance since going down by half a length to Camille Pissarro in the Chantilly Classic at the start of June.

Following two promising efforts at the end of his two-year-old season, Cualificar racked up three straight wins in the spring, following up a Saint-Cloud maiden victory with G3 success in the Prix La Force and Prix de Guiche.
