Casapueblo seeks chequered flag in G3 Grand Prix de Vichy

Casapueblo hopes to secure a first G3 success in Vichy’s feature race of the year, the Grand Prix de Vichy, on Wednesday, 16 July.

Third in last season’s G3 Prix Greffulhe, the Andre Fabre-trained four-year-old posted two good efforts in the French provinces earlier this year, finding Wally a neck too strong at Lyon and again filling the runner-up spot in a Toulouse Listed race.

He remains in G3 company after coming home fifth in a deep renewal of Longchamp’s La Coupe in early June, a race that featured G1 winners Goliath and Iresine.
