Promising three-year-olds Al Qahwa and Anamba feature among a strong Godolphin team at Naas, Ireland, on Sunday, May 29.

Al Qahwa (Michael Halford/William Buick) makes his seasonal return in the six-furlong G3 Bar One Racing Lacken Stakes (16.15hrs local time) having ended his juvenile campaign with a third behind Smash Williams, who re-opposes, over the same distance in the G3 Round Tower Stakes at the Curragh in August.

The Fast Company colt, an easy winner of a six-furlong Leopardstown maiden in July, was placed on his two other appearances last year, both of which were over the same course and distance as the Lacken Stakes.

Al Qahwa, who will emerge from stall three, has six rivals including Washington DC, three times a Listed winner.

Anamba (Michael Halford/William Buick), a daughter of Shamardal, starts off 2016 in the Listed Owenstown Stud Stakes (14.35hrs local time) over seven furlongs after missing the Classic, the G1 Tattersalls Irish 1,000 Guineas, on May 22 due to soft ground.

She made two starts, both over seven furlongs, as a juvenile, and followed up a head success in a Leopardstown maiden with a half-length second in the G3 C L & M F Weld Park Stakes at the Curragh.

Anamba is drawn in stall one of the 14-strong field.

Michael Halford commented: "Al Qahwa is ready to start his season and six furlongs will suit him well.

"He would like some ease in the ground as, ideally, he wants it on the slow side of good.

"He is coming up against plenty of horses with runs under their belts this year but this looks a good starting point for him with his rating of 100 and we will see where to go from here.

"He is a very laid back horse at home and has plenty of pace. He may get seven furlongs in time because he is a relaxed horse but he is a lot more on the ball at the racecourse, so this trip looks the right one for him at the moment."

"Anamba missed the Irish 1,000 Guineas last week because of the ground turning soft and this looks a nice race for her.

"A stiff seven furlongs around Naas shouldn't inconvenience her as we think she will get a mile this season.

"She is in good form and we expect her to run a big race. She should have a winning chance."

Two-year-old colt Moritzburg (Michael Halford/William Buick) steps up to Listed level for the six-furlong Coolmore War Command Rochestown Stakes (15.10hrs local time) after showing signs of inexperience when third on his debut in a conditions race over the same course and distance on May 11.

Michael Halford added: "Moritzburg has come on nicely since his first run. This looks a very good race and it will be very informative for us.

"I expect him to up his game from his first run and this will certainly point us in the right direction for the rest of the season.

"We like him and he has been doing everything right. We decided to run him in Listed company to see what we have and we can always go back to a maiden.

"We definitely think that he is up to running well at this level."

Elsewhere on the card,Theodorico (Jim Bolger/Kevin Manning) and Aridity (Willie McCreery/William Buick) line up in the three-year-old handicap, the Follow Us on Facebook Handicap (16.45hrs local time), over a mile, while Golden Raven (Michael Halford/William Buick) aims for a third straight win on his return to turf in the New BBQ Evening Format At Naas Handicap (17.15hrs local time), also over a mile,
