Spectroscope and Bueller line up alongside Ultra in the G2 Prix Eugene Adam over a mile and a quarter at Maisons-Laffitte, France, on Sunday, July 17.

The three-year-old colts are all trained by Andre Fabre, with Spectroscope (Pierre-Charles Boudot) making his Pattern debut on the back of a comprehensive five-length success in a mile conditions race at Saint-Cloud on June 28.

The son of Medaglia d'Oro has made two other appearances, both in Chantilly maidens, making all for a neck victory over a mile and a quarter on turf in April and finishing a close second on Polytrack on his March 22 mile debut.

Bueller (Jefferson Smith), a Chantilly maiden winner over seven furlongs last year, is expected to set the pace for both Spectroscope and Ultra (Mickael Barzalona), who has his first outing since winning the G1 Qatar Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere at Longchamp in October.

Ultra, by Manduro, is unbeaten in three starts and steps up to a mile and a quarter for the first time.

Lisa-Jane Graffard of Godolphin commented: "Spectroscope is a horse who has continued to improve throughout the year and won his latest start in good fashion.

"He deserves to take his chance in Group company and we are looking forward to seeing him run."

Speaking to the Godolphin website on Tuesday, Andre Fabre commented that "Ultra has been working well at home in preparation for his reappearance.

He has been away from the track for a long time and he will definitely take plenty of improvement from the race on Saturday."

The 10 participants in the Prix Eugene Adam also feature G3 Prix Noailles victor Raseed and G1 Prix du Jockey Club sixth Golden Bridge.
