The unbeaten Ultra makes his eagerly awaited seasonal debut in Sunday's G2 Prix Eugene Adam at Maisons-Laffite, Paris.

The Andre Fabre-trained colt suffered an injury setback when being prepared for the Classics in the first half of the season. He developed a splint in April and was immediately placed on the 'easy' list.

Fabre told the Godolphin website: "Ultra has been working well at home in preparation for his reappearance.

"He has been away from the track for a long time since winning the G1 Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere, and he will definitely take plenty of improvement from the race on Sunday," he added.

The form lines to France's premier end-of-season two-year-old test are working out well.

Ultra defeated Cymric, a fellow Godolphin runner, with Galileo Gold back in third, at Longchamp last October.

This season, Galileo Gold has won both the G1 2,000 Guineas at Newmarket and G1 St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot, franking the form in no uncertain terms.
