Multiple Graded Stakes winner Enticed retired to stud

Enticed, a multiple Graded Stakes-winning son of Medaglia d’Oro out of triple G1 winner It’s Tricky, has been retired from racing and will stand as a Darley stallion at Jonabell Farm in Lexington, Kentucky for the 2020 season.

Enticed raced for Godolphin under the care of trainer Kiaran McLaughlin (who also trained his dam) and broke his maiden on debut at Saratoga as a two-year-old. He was then placed in the G1 Champagne before capturing his first Graded Stakes in the G2 Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes at Churchill Downs.

He returned at three to win the G3 Gotham at Aqueduct, earning a 95 Beyer, before finishing second to Vino Rosso in the G2 Wood Memorial.

Trainer Kiaran McLaughlin said “It’s Tricky was one of the best fillies I ever trained. It was so special to have a son of Medaglia d’Oro out of her show so much talent. Enticed was a very smart horse who really did everything right.”
