Line Of Duty suffers fatal injury

Line Of Duty, winner of last year’s G1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf, unfortunately suffered a serious injury on the morning Saturday, 26 October and upon veterinary advice, the decision was taken to euthanise him.

Line Of Duty also won the G3 Prix de Conde at two, and has been placed twice at the highest level this year, in the G1 Jacques le Marois and G1 Prix du Moulin.

His trainer Charlie Appleby said, “Line Of Duty was a brave horse who has travelled the world over. As well as his brilliant win at the Breeders’ Cup, he has performed at the highest level throughout his career and will be sorely missed at Moulton Paddocks.”
