Harry Angel & Ribchester triumph at ROA Horseracing Awards

Godolphin gained a pair of prizes at the Racehorse Owners Association Horseracing Awards on Thursday, 7 December, with Harry Angel and Ribchester both honoured at a ceremony held at London’s InterContinental Hotel.
Harry Angel, trained by Clive Cox, received the Outstanding Sprinter Award following brilliant G1 victories in the Darley July Cup and Haydock Park’s Sprint Cup.

Ribchester collected the Outstanding Miler Award after an exceptional campaign for trainer Richard Fahey that included G1 wins in the Lockinge Stakes, Queen Anne Stakes and Prix du Moulin de Longchamp.
The awards, which honour the best Flat, Jump and All-Weather performers plus owners, special achievers and racecourses, are voted for annually by the 8,000-strong membership of the Racehorse Owners Association.
