What a racing weekend in Europe! Following hard on the heels of the Classics at Epsom, the G1 Prix du Jockey-Club is scheduled to be run at Chantilly.

What a racing weekend in Europe! Following hard on the heels of the Classics at Epsom (both previewed on the website), the G1 Prix du Jockey-Club is scheduled to be run at Chantilly.

Godolphin trainer Andre Fabre is upbeat about Talismanic and Floodlight, who have both progressed nicely towards the French Derby. But the opposition looks strong in this Classic that has been run over 2,000m since 2005 when Shamardal was successful.

Mekhtaal won the G2 Prix Hocquart by six lengths in a stunning trial but Foundation was placed in York's G2 Dante Stakes, and Zarak has been looking for this trip following his 5th in the one-mile G1 French 2,000 Guineas at Deauville.

Robin Of Navan is already a G1 winner and finished a solid second to Cloth Of Stars in the G2 Prix Greffulhe at Saint-Cloud. The Epsom Derby form will be of great significance.

In Brisbane, Eagle Farm reopens for racing following a break for reconstruction at the track lasting nearly two years. Godolphin have solid claims in the featured G1 Queensland Oaks with the classy filly Ambience.
