Dubai Beauty out to scale May Hill

Racenews

Impressive debut winner Dubai Beauty steps up in class and trip for the G2 May Hill Stakes over the straight mile at Doncaster, UK, on Thursday, 13 September.

The two-year-old Frankel filly, trained by Saeed bin Suroor, quickened powerfully to score by a length and a half in a seven-furlong novice contest on Newmarket’s July Course on 4 August.

Ridden for the first time by Colm O’Donoghue and drawn in stall two, she takes on 10 rivals including Peach Tree and Fleeting, who were second and third in the G3 Flame of Tara Stakes, plus G3 Prestige Stakes runner-up Accordance and first-time out scorer Sand Share.

Saeed bin Suroor commented: “Dubai Beauty won well at Newmarket and has been working nicely.

“This is a step up into G2 company, but the mile should suit and I am hoping for a good run.”
