Colossal task awaits Casapueblo in G3 La Coupe

Casapueblo faces a stiff challenge on his return to G3 company as he lines up against top-level winners Goliath and Iresine in the 10-furlong La Coupe at Longchamp, France, on Sunday, 8 June.
The Andre Fabre-trained four-year-old started last season with two appearances in Prix du Jockey Club trials, finishing fourth in the G3 Prix Noailles before going one place better in the G3 Prix Greffulhe.
Runner-up in a Toulouse Listed race in April, Casapueblo made a first handicap start over the La Coupe course and trip on French Guineas day, when he kept on to come home a close sixth under top weight.
A quartet of three-year-old fillies aim for Black Type on the same card, with recent Listed Prix Finlande runner-up Ilda Rosa joining Chantilly debut winner La Brodeuse in the Listed Prix Melisande.
Whataboutism, who also made a winning introduction at Chantilly, runs in the Listed Prix Volterra alongside Honeyflower, a course and distance runner-up to Yoga Master on her latest outing.
