Two of Godolphin's high-profile G1 Derby runners trained by Andre Fabre are to target Thursday's G1 Grand Prix de Paris, which is to be run at Saint-Cloud this year.

The G2 Prix Greffulhe winner Cloth Of Stars, who disappointed when 8th to Harzand in the G1 Investec Derby, will take his chance in the Bastille Day feature. He was beaten 16 lengths at Epsom but is expected to bounce back on a track for which he has shown a liking.

Andre Fabre commented: "Cloth of Stars is having his first run since the Derby, so is on a bit of a recovery mission. He appears outwardly to have recovered well and his work has been good. This is only his second try over 12f and his last try in the Derby was inconclusive. He goes on any type of ground so should not be inconvenienced if the thunderstorms materialise."

And Talismanic, a solid fourth to Almanzor in the G1 Prix du Jockey-Club, is also scheduled to line up in France's premier mile-and-a-half contest exclusively for three-year-olds.

Talismanic needs cut in the ground to be seen at his best.

Fabre reports: "Talismanic ran a brave race in the Jockey Club, and he is a lovely horse with a very genuine attitude. He is best served by cut in the ground so if it rains heavily he will not be inconvenienced. He is in great form and while he hasn't quite shown himself up to this level just yet, he should run well."

The G1 Grand Prix has been transferred -- reportedly for one year only -- from Longchamp, where a new grandstand is being constructed.
