Carry On Deryck seeks Sovereign riches

Carry On Deryck looks to build on a progressive 2016 campaign as he returns to action in the G3 Sovereign Stakes over a mile at Salisbury, UK, on Thursday, August 17. 

The Saeed bin Suroor-trained five-year-old, who is ridden by William Carson, ended last season with two excellent runs over nine furlongs at Newmarket, taking second in both the Cambridgeshire Heritage Handicap in September and the G3 Darley Stakes in October. 

He lines up against seven others including G3 scorer Hathal plus valuable handicap winners Ballet Concerto and Master The World. 

Saeed bin Suroor said: “Carry On Deryck ran very well on his final two appearances last year and is ready to start his season.

“He has been going nicely at home and I am hoping for another good result.”
