Created a favourable impression when winning both his starts for David Elsworth on extremes of ground, which prompted Godolphin to purchase the son of Turtle Island at the end of his juvenile campaign; said to have pleased his new connections in his work in Dubai and duly made the perfect start for Saeed bin Suroor with an all-the-way win in the Group 1 2,000 Guineas on the Newmarket July Course; picked up an injury when attempting the double in the Irish equivalent, which meant he was not seen again that season, and would only make one appearance as a 4yo; connections were rewarded for their patience when he gained a wide-margin win in heavy ground at Haydock on his second-last outing, as a 5yo; he was shuttled to China to take up stallion duties; won from 6f-1m; seemed adaptable with regards to ground.
