200,000gns Y; second foal; brother to 1m 2yo/1m4f winner Frankel's Storm (RPR 98); dam 15.5f-2m winner (inc AW/Listed; 103); won a 1m heavy-ground novice event on debut at Newmarket in October 2020; impressive winner of 10f conditions race (good) at Newbury when next seen in April 2021, pulling clear with another promising sort; improved again when winning the Group 2 Dante Stakes (10f) at York in May; lost his unbeaten status but not disgraced whatsoever in the Derby next time, coming home in third having lost both his front shoes; went two better in Irish version at the Curragh at the end of the month, pulling seven lengths clear with the runner-up; won Grand Prix De Paris (12f) by 6l just three weeks later and impressive winner of the St Leger at Doncaster (14.5f) on next start in September; followed that with a fine third in the Arc at Longchamp in October, performing best of the 3yos; may have needed the run when third of seven in Group 2 Hardwicke Stakes at Ascot in June; still ran respectably there but huge disappointment in Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud (12f) in early July, finishing eighth of nine; again disappointing on 2023 return at Newbury (12f, soft) in April but back to form on better ground on next start in May, winning the Group 2 Jockey Club Stakes over 1m4f in May; below his best again next time in the Group 1 Coronation Cup, albeit that looked a strong race.
