Progressed as a 2yo for Andre Fabre; landing conditions event at Chantilly and finishing runner-up in Listed event at Longchamp; third on 3yo reappearance in a conditions race at Maisons-Laffitte and also third in the Group 3 Prix du Palais-Royal at Longchamp, before gaining a deserved Group 1 success in the Prix Jean Prat at Chantilly; good effort when runner-up in the Group 2 Prix Guillaume d'Ornano at Deauville when stepped up in trip, and promising fourth in the Group 2 Al Rashidiya on his debut for Saeed bin Suroor in January 2013; well beaten when switched to the Tapeta for the Group 3 Burj Nahaar next time, though, and finished last in the Dubai Duty Free on World Cup night when visored for the first time; tried in cheekpieces, seventh in the Group 2 Summer Mile at Ascot in July 2013, but decent third when dropped to Listed class at Pontefract later in the month, before disappointing when failing to settle in a Group 2 at Goodwood; again didn't settle in a first-time hood when finishing last of seven in a Listed race at Sandown in September; stays 1m2f; acts on good and softer ground.
