half-brother to winners Deference (5.5f), Courtly (6f-1m) and Submissive (6f/6.7f); impressive winner of a 5f Listed race at Flemington in October 2020; solid effort when second to odds-on shot in a Group 3 on next start in January 2021; won at Flemington in February, this time a 5.5f Listed race; close second in Group 1 Blue Diamond Stakes at Caulfield the following month and not beaten too far when fifth in 6f Group 3 at Rosehill in March; highly creditable third in Group 1 Golden Slipper at Rosehill when next seen; won a Group 3 sprint at Caulfield following a 140-day break in August; touched off in Listed race (5.5f) at Flemington in September but held in Group 2 at same track the following month; back to best when third in the Group 1 Manikato Stakes in October; midfield in Group 1s later that month and when next seen in February 2022 and then well held in a Listed event at Doomben; much better next time in similar race at Eagle Farm (6f), finishing third of twelve; built on that by winning Caulfield handicap over 5.5f in September; bettered that by finishing second in a Group 3 at Caulfield (5.5f) in October; held in valuable conditions race at Randwick (6f) and in a handicap at Newcastle (6.5f) after that before finishing fair fifth in 5.5f Group 3 at Caulfield in July; held in Group 2 (6f) in August but close third in Group 3 at Caulfield (5.5f) in September; disappointing at the same track a month later.
