Top-class son of Frankel; dam 1m Group 3 winner/Irish 1,000 second (RPR 110), sister to useful winners Anglophile (7f-2m) and Seniority (7f-1m3f) out of 1m 2yo Group 3 winner; green when fourth of eleven in 1m maiden at Nottingham on debut in October 2020 and built on that by winning at same venue at the end of the month (1m, soft); promising first start of 2021 when staying on second of ten in Group 3 Classic Trial at Sandown (10f) in April and then finished second of six in Lingfield Derby Trial (1m4f) in May; took his form to the next level on following start when an emphatic winner of the Derby, coming home over 4l ahead of the second, a result that was franked soon after; took a further leap forward when becoming the first Derby winner since Galileo 20 years earlier to land the King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes when next seen; good fourth in the Arc at Longchamp on next start in October, having missed his intended prep race and then fifth in Champion Stakes (ran freely) at Ascot in October; missed summer targets in 2022 after a respiratory infection but won a three-runner conditions race at Doncaster (10f) on long-awaited return in September and ran another massive race when close second in Champion Stakes at Ascot (10f) in October; back with a bang in May 2023 when easily winning Group 3 Gordon Richards Stakes (10f) at Newmarket.
