half-brother to winners Jack Hobbs (8.6f-1m4f inc Irish Derby; RPR 125), Niceofyoutotellme (1m1f-1m3f; 114), Manson (7f AW 2yo/1m turf; 101) and Mrs Greeley (6f-7f; 92); well held in 7f maiden at Curragh in November 2020; midfiield at same track over 1m2f in April 2021 (weakened late); much better the following month when third, beaten a nose and a head, at Cork in 10f maiden (good); close second over same distance (pair clear) at the Curragh in June and off the mark the following month at Dundalk in 10.5f maiden, looking at ease on the surface; sound third in a decent handicap at the same track in August and then, after being gelded, finished third again on 4yo return at Cork; didn't appear to stay 1m4f when well beaten at Leopardstown in May; much better run over 10f at the Curragh at the end of the same month, finishing second of nineteen; second again, this time over 12f at Cork, in June (appeared to stay the trip well); very disappointing over same trip next time at Curragh, however but two much better efforts after that, firstly a close second at Leopardstown (10f) and a win at Gowran Park (1m4f) in August; followed that with two more seconds at The Curragh (1m2f) in September and Leopardstown (1m4f) in October; wore hood and tongue-tie for those latest four runs.
