Opened account impressively by winning the Group 2 Mill Reef Stakes over 6f at Newbury on his second and final start as a juvenile; slammed a useful field in the Group 2 Sandy Lane Stakes at Haydock in 2017; purchased privately by Godolphin afterwards and runner-up in the Group 1 Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot in June, but then stepped up on that to take a cracking renewal of the Group 1 July Cup; confirmed himself as the best sprinter in Europe at the time when making all for a wide-margin win in heavy ground in the Group 1 Haydock Sprint Cup; professional when defying a penalty on 2018 return during May in the Group 2 Duke Of York Stakes but played up in stalls and lost race at the start when favourite and down the field in Group 1 Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot the following month; below best in Sprint Cup next time but finished track career with a fine second in the Group 1 Champions Sprint Stakes.
