Territories & Come Alive in Prix du Pin test

The Andre Fabre-trained pair of Territories and Come Alive go to post in the seven-furlong G3 Prix du Pin (15.25hrs local time) over seven furlongs at Chantilly, France, on Thursday, September 8.
 
Territories, the mount of Mickael Barzalona, was last seen out when third in the G3 Prix Messidor over a mile at Maisons-Laffitte on July 17. The four-year-old colt was successful at G1 level in 2015 when landing the mile Prix Jean Prat at Chantilly and came second in both the G1 2000 Guineas at Newmarket, UK and the G1 Prix Jacques Le Marois at Deauville.
 
Come Alive made her latest appearance when a close sixth in the G3 Prix de Lieurey at Deauville on August 15. The three-year-old filly, successful at Listed level in the seven-furlong Prix Amandine at Maisons-Laffitte on July 4, was only beaten four lengths when eighth in the G1 Poule d’Essai des Pouliches over a mile at Deauville in May. Territories is drawn eight, while emerges Come Alive from stall 14.
 
A field of 14 is set to go to post for the Prix du Pin, including the G3 scorers Attendu, Blue Soave, Coulsty and Sasparella.
 
Lisa-Jane Graffard of Godolphin commented: “Come Alive and Territories both go into the race in good order. 

“It looks like quite a strong race on paper but this has been the target for Come Alive for some time and she is a filly that has put together a nice record. 
 
“Territories ran an improved race on his most recent start and we are hopeful he can bounce back to his best on Thursday.”
