Fourth foal; half-brother to 1m6f/2m Flat; RPR 91 and useful 2m-2m5f hurdle/chase winner Leoncavallo; dam 8.6f AW 2yo winner (stayed 1m4f; 94), half-sister to high-class milers Librettist and Dubai Destination and 1m4f Group 3 winner Secret Number; not seen until late into this 3yo season but was an impressive winner over 10f on debut at Chelmsford in late October; close second in 9.5f conditions race at Meydan when next seen in December; finished third (twice) and fourth in handicaps at same track in early 2021 (9.5f and two over 10f); won Royal Hunt Cup (1m) by a wide margin on first turf start in June 2021 (in first time cheekpieces) and followed up in good style in Listed race over 1m2f at Newbury the following month in same headgear; won Group 3 Strensall Stakes at York (9f) in August in good style and followed up in Group 2 Prix Daniel Wildenstein (1m) at Longchamp in October; completed a five-timer in Group 2 over 1m at Meydan on next start in January 2022; failed to act on dirt when down the field in 9f Saudi Cup in February and made it 0-6 on dirt when well held in Dubai World Cup; much better back on turf when clear second behind Baaeed in Group 1 Lockinge Stakes at Newbury in May; second behind same rival (finished closer to him) in Group 1 Queen Anne Stakes (1m) at Royal Ascot in June; gelded afterwards and in need of run when down the field in Group 1 Jebel Hatta (9f) at Meydan in March 2023; also disappointing in Dubai Turf at the end of the same month; last of seven in Group 1 Prix Ganay at Longchamp (10.5f) in late April, where he was probably unsuited by very soft ground.
