Tom Kitten became the first horse to win the G1 All-Star Mile twice as he followed up his 2025 heroics with another impressive win at Flemington on Saturday.

In cosily denying Evaporate and Pride Of Jenni, the son of Harry Angel was securing a third top-level win and taking his prize money earnings to more than AUS$7.5m. He will aim for more G1 glory over the coming weeks, with the Australian Cup and Doncaster Mile options alongside potential trips overseas.

Tom Kitten’s victory continues an outstanding run of form for Godolphin over the past four weeks in Australia, with Tentyris, Pericles, Observer and Tempted all triumphing at G1 level since the middle of February.

Promising two-year-old Medicinal could add her name to the list of G1 winners over the coming weeks after the Brazen Beau filly readily won the G3 Ottawa Stakes on the same Flemington card. From the same family as Bivouac and Sepoy, she heads to Sydney for the remainder of the autumn, where she could end up in the Golden Slipper.

Ultra-consistent mare Pinito picked up a deserved first G3 success on Saturday as she comfortably prevailed in the Aspiration Quality at Randwick. A rare Godolphin purchase at the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale in 2023, the daughter of Trapeze Artist was beaten a short-head in July’s G1 Queensland Oaks and looks primed to bid for more Group-race honours.

I Need You guaranteed her place in next month’s G1 Oka Sho (Japanese 1,000 Guineas) after finishing third in one of the key trials for the Classic, the G2 Fillies’ Revue at Hanshin on Saturday.
Casapueblo registered his first win since October, 2023 with a decisive victory in an all-weather conditions race at Chantilly on Sunday. The five-year-old has proved an admirable campaigner over the past two years, notably filling the runner-up spot in August’s G2 Grand Prix de Deauville, and will be aiming for a Group-race breakthrough this season.
