Godolphin crowned Champion All-Weather Owner
Godolphin received the Champion Owner Award for the UK All-Weather Championships for a 12th consecutive year following the conclusion of the season on Friday, 3 April.
Horses in the royal blue silks registered 25 victories during the all-weather season, with all but one achieved by this year’s three-year-old crop.
Kempton Park produced the majority of those wins, with 2,000 Guineas entries King's Trail (pictured) and Hidden Force headlining a raft of Classic contenders to enjoy success at the course.
Derby aspirants Nation’s Hope and Maho Bay also posted impressive wins at Kempton Park, while exciting filly Abashiri made an eye-catching introduction at the track in November.
Shabab Al Ahli featured among a trio of horses to post comprehensive wins at Southwell, with Quartermaster and Guildmaster scoring decisively on their respective debuts at Chelmsford and Lingfield Park.
Hugh Anderson, Godolphin Managing Director (UK & Dubai), said: “Everyone at Godolphin is delighted to record a twelfth consecutive Owners' Championship on the All-Weather.
“The All-Weather season remains an important feature of the racing year and we have had some exciting winners that could now be heading to this year's Classics, including King's Trail, Hidden Force and Abashiri.
“As ever, this has been a real effort from the whole team: the trainers, jockeys and everyone working in the racing yards. We are all now gearing up for what will hopefully be another successful season on the turf.”
