Smart half-brother to winners, most notably Dubai World Cup winner African Story; won maiden at Kyoto in April 2018; two more minor wins since before close second in 1m4f Kyoto handicap on firm in April 2019; also won over 1m4f on firm at Tokyo in October of that year, which he followed with a close third in 1m4.5f Grade 2 handicap back there in November; well held four times in 2020; best run for some time when close fourth in 10f Listed race at Tokyo in January 2021; below that level for most of 2021 but best run for some time on final start at Chukyo (10f) when close second of eighteen; ran just as well when fifth of 16 in Grade 2 handicap at same course (11f) in January 2022 and then was a shock winner of Grade 2 contest at Hanshin (11f) the following month; ran respectably in a Grade 1 over 10f in April, finishing seventh, beaten just over 3l by the winner; held on next five starts in 2022 and 2023 but much better effort when fourth of fourteen over 1m7f at Hanshin in March (headed late on); pulled up in a 2m Grade 1 at Kyoto in late April (213-1); held again at big odds in Grade 2 next time.
