  • Godolphin was founded by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in the autumn of 1992.  Godolphin's international operation commenced in 1994.
  • Godolphin's Saeed bin Suroor has won the British Trainers' Championship on four occasions (1996, 1998, 1999 and 2004).

  • Schiaparelli‘s triumph in the Group Two Darley Prix Kergorlay at Deauville, France on Sunday, 23 August 2009 saw Godolphin reach a notable landmark of 500 Group/Grade and Listed race victories since the stable’s inception.
  • Godolphin landed their 150th Listed winner since the international stable started out in 1992 when Baila Me won the EBF All-Weather 20th Anniversary River Eden Fillies' Stakes at Lingfield Park on October 29 2009.
  • Bab Al Salam recorded the stable's 1500th winner when victorious in the Christmas Party Nights at Kempton Park Handicap Stakes at Kempton Park on Tuesday, November 3 2009.
  • Dubai Millennium, Halling and Kayf Tara have been the most successful Godolphin horses by number of wins, each winning nine races.
  • Daylami and Fantastic Light have been the most successful Godolphin horses in Group or Grade One races, each winning six times at the highest level.
  • Fantastic Light and Street Cry have been the most successful Godolphin horses with regard to prize money, with Fantastic Light earning approximately £3,400,000Stg (US$5,300,000) and Street Cry earning £3,500,000Stg (US$5,150,000).
  • Godolphin's most successful years numerically are 2009 (202 winners) and 2001 (133 winners).
  • Godolphin has reached 100 wins in a calendar year on eight occasions (1998, 2001, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2009 & 2010) since its inception in 1992. The fastest being in 2010 when Biondetti scored in the Talk Night Club Maiden Stakes at Newmarket, United Kingdom on Friday, August 6 to secure the century.
